ChristianCinema is a woman-owned, African-American motion picture studio that will make great movies while generating great profits for its partners. Specifically, we create and produce faith-based romances and comedies targeted at African-American women and families.
ChristianCinema is a multi-media content creator that provides a steady stream of sophisticated African-American and faith-based programming. Its programming is distributed to consumers via home video, cable and broadcast television and the internet.
ChristianCinema movies and tv shows will be targeted towards African-American women, the primary purchasers of entertainment for their households. There are 14 million African-American women in America with buying power of nearly half a trillion dollars.

Jacque Edmonds Cofer: Bio
Jacque Edmonds Cofer is a native of Cleveland, Ohio. She attended Princeton University, graduating with an A.B. in Politics, with certificates awarded in Urban Studies, Political Economy, and African-American Studies. She then worked for the Chase Manhattan Bank as a Trust Administrator before moving to Boston, Massachusetts, where she had been accepted by Harvard University’s School of Graduate Business Administration. While at Harvard, Ms. Cofer interned with the Office of the President of Columbia Pictures. She performed analyses of the music publishing and network television industries that culminated in the post-graduate publication of case material for the Harvard Business School on the creation of the Fox Broadcasting Company.
Ms. Cofer got her first network television-writing job on “Martin.” Within two years, she had risen to supervising producer. After “Martin,” she moved to Warner Bros. Television where she was the co-executive producer of Fox’s “Living Single.” While there, she produced and developed several pilots of her own. Following her tenure at Warner Bros., Ms. Cofer joined UPN, where she served as the executive producer of UPN’s “Moesha” and the co-executive producer of “Abby”. Jacque was also the co-executive producer of the WB’s “All about the Andersons,” shot a pilot for UPN with Paramount Studios based on the Latina singing group “Soluna” and was co-executive producer of the UPN comedy “Cuts.”
Currently, Ms. Cofer and her husband and business partner James Cofer, Jr. are creating, acquiring and producing movies and television shows for their company, Cofer Entertainment Group. Their most recent project is the DRTV talk show “Voices: Women in the Church” which will air on Christian television stations beginning in 2009.
From establishing scholarships at Stanford and Bowling Green State Universities, to helping build a school in South Africa, Jacque is known for her community involvement. Her professional work reflects this dedication and has garnered her an NAACP Image Award, a PRISM award from the National Institutes of Health and the Entertainment Industries Council for accurate depiction of drugs, alcohol and tobacco use and addiction, two SHINE awards for depiction of adolescent sexuality and health, a President’s Award from the Alliance of Black Entertainment Technician for employment and support of African-American production crews and the Today’s Hope Award from The Links, Inc.

James Cofer, Jr. received his degree in Business Management and Economics from the University of Maryland and graduated from the Owner/Management Program of the Harvard Business School.
Mr. Cofer relocated to Los Angeles in 2003 where he founded Cofer Financial Group, a diversified tax strategy and business services company. He has expanded from asset protection and wealth transfer into real estate, business financing and tax reduction services. He maintains a diverse client base ranging from small businesses to high net worth individuals.
